Hush sits at the bottom of your Mac, keeps quiet about what can wait and tells you when Claude Code or Codex needs you.
Animated with Hush's own art. Mail isn't connected yet. App icons belong to their owners; Hush isn't affiliated with them.
Recorded from the app itself. Agent sessions, meetings and mail are simulated; Hand it to Hush and Ask Hush ran for real.
An illustration. Today Hush looks after your meetings and your Claude Code and Codex sessions. Mail is coming.
Leave Claude Code or Codex running and switch to something else. Hush holds an envelope when a long run finishes and perks up when it needs your OK. The alerts come from the agents' own hooks, with no model calls. By default it's left out of screenshots and screen recordings, so it stays out of your screen shares.
Hush is ready when you are.
On a day like yours, that's 63 things you'd never have to see.
No. The character, meeting nudges, the wardrobe and rare finds work on their own. Agent alerts need Claude Code or Codex installed and use their hooks, with no model calls. Ask Hush answers and Summarise use your Claude Code login.
Your calendar, whether you're typing or on a call, and your Claude Code and Codex sessions, all on your Mac. The agent hooks send Hush only the event, session id, folder, host app and terminal device. What leaves your Mac
Hush is free and open source. Ask Hush runs on your own Claude Code login, so answers count toward your Claude usage. History on your Mac shows what each one cost.
Not by default. Hush's windows are left out of screen shares, recordings and screenshots. It starts that way, and a switch in the menu bar panel lets you show it when you want it in a screenshot.
It counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics: which page, where you came from, your country, browser and device type. No cookies, nothing that identifies you, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Hush the app has no analytics at all.
No. Nothing is pasted, sent or run in another app on its own. Browser tasks are a beta you turn on, and they're told to ask before sending, buying or deleting.
There's no signed download yet, so you build it from source: clone the repo and run ./scripts/bundle.sh. You need macOS 15 or later and Xcode or the Command Line Tools.
Hush can tell you: choose Check for updates… in its menu bar panel, or say yes when it asks to check once a day. Click Update and Terminal pulls and rebuilds it in front of you. Or by hand: in the folder you cloned, run git pull, then ./scripts/bundle.sh again. It rebuilds Hush and swaps it in place, and your Hush, wardrobe, rules and history stay as they were. If an update changes the agent hooks, Hush tells you, and you update them in Settings ▸ Connections. The changelog lists what's new.
